Meeting Minutes

1.     The meeting was called to order at 5:00pm. 
2.     Reviewed the meeting minutes from November 19th. Motion to accept the minutes by Ramon, seconded by Aaron, passed by all Commissioners present.
3.     Reviewed the request from the Town Administratot for clarification regarding the requirements for the Yankee Road Reconstruction Project. 
4.     Reviewed the forest cutting plan submitted by Thomas P. Danek for Deb Katz property. 
5.     Received an update on the ORSC from Justine. Working with Mass Audubon re: surveys and their $10,000 portion. All moving forward. Grant info coming in February. February determination of non-profit status and open space grant. 
6.     Reviewed the updated ConCom web page. Work by Justine, using the Mass Association of Conservation Committee website as a boilerplate. 
7.     Reviewed the NOI for the Yankee Road repair project. Opened the public hearing opened at 5:15pm.  There isn’t a storm water report yet, National Heritage needs to be contacted about rare species areas by where work is to. be done, and how sediment control will be handled and by who. The hearing will be continued until the engineers and the town have all required and submitted to the ConCom. 
8.     Other:
	a.    Possible hiring of Bill Latrell an ecological consultant to monitor the Yankee Road repair project repair due to sensitive areas abutting the project, as well other consulting work completed and planned. Aaron will see about working alongside Bill Latrell to understand better the work involved. 
	b.    MACC conference is February 28th in Worcester. 
	c.    Also separate training sessions are available in April. Justine mentioned Mass Audubon training in May.  A Town Training: Preventing Discrimination and Harassment on Thursday, April 2, 2026, 1:00 to 3:30pm.
9.     The next meeting is scheduled for February 11, 2026 at 5:00pm. 
10.  A motion to adjourn by Ramon, seconded by Bob, passed by all Commissioner present. The meeting was adjourned at 5:40pm.
